M.Ed. Garment Technology

Summer Master of Education in Garment Technology

      •  Is a two-year study program
      • Covers 120 ECTS Credit Points (CP)

Academic Requirements

The candidates who have successfully completed undergraduate B.Ed. program in Garment Technology, TVET BSc in Garment Engineering and BSc in Garment Engineering from the accredited Universities or equivalent will be eligible to apply for admission to the M.Ed   in garment technology.

There is a need to improve the qualifications of the TVET teachers holding BEd degrees to enhance the quality of the teaching and learning process. There is no university offering graduate programs where these BEd first-degree holders are eligible to get admitted in textile and garment fields. With almost no chance to upgrade their qualification, most of them are remaining with a first degree for many years, which is considerably affecting the quality of the teaching and learning process in the country. This newly designed M.Ed Programme definitely addresses such a problem.
