South Korean delegates visits EiTEX-BDU and held a discussion on different issues. The delegates consists of Gyeongbuk Technopark, Yeungnam University, DYETEC (Korea Dyeng and Finishing Technology Institute), FITI Testing and Research Institute, GS system, DaeLim Starlet Co.LTD and EM Korea Co. LTD (machine suppliers), in general 13 members stayed in Bahir Dar from November 29 to December 02, 2018. They have discussed with BDU president, EiTEX Scientific Director and other EiTEX representatives, and interested to work in collaboration in terms of capacity building, staff development, machine spare parts and maintenance, etc which will be converted into MOU near future.

They have started to build Technopark in Ethiopia and also interested to invest on cotton production and held a discussion with different experts from different organization; from ETIDI, Amhara investment commission and EiTEX about the potential of Amhara region to produce cotton.

They have also visited different facilities of EiTEX (laboratories, new campus and workshops, Narga Teaching and Production Company), Bahir Dar Textile Share Company, Tis-Abay falls and different historic churchs on Tana Lake and exchange of cultures.
